~So since our Kiriban has been missed twice in a row now, we are going to postpone further kiribans until we have our little "to do list" of Kiribans taken care of. Which, in retrospect, is how we should have been doing it anyway.

~I am sadly late in making this announcement, but yesterday was Sakura (Purrbox)'s 19th Birthday! Go give her belated birthday wishes and tell her it's Sasuke's fault that they're late x.x

~As mentioned in the previous journal entry, Yaoi-Con is our next, and final, convention of 09! Unless something unexpected comes up, all members will be in attendance!

After Y-Con

~After Yaoi-con, we plan on getting a subscription to make things a bit easier (polls are win). One of the first things you will see is a poll on what series you want to se us do next. We have several ideas rolling around in our brains, but if you have any suggestions you want to get out there ahead of time, then certainly speak up!

~Despite the poll and the future costumes that we're all so excited for, it may be a while yet before you see anything terribly new. This is because when this group started a little over a year and a half ago, we were all cosplay beginners, and we have made a lot of progress since then. So we want to spend our time touching up and revamping some of our old things before we start new projects. How long it will be before we start a new series depends on how much we decide needs fixing and low quickly we work.

Well, sadly, our 20k kiriban was missed, so we're just gonna bump it up to 20,500. As well, we know we have a ton of other Kiribans we still owe. I could try to give a reason for why they're so late, but there is no whay. At this point, all we can do is apologize and promise to do them ASAP. And swear that we will NEVER be this bad about getting them done EVER AGAIN D: Anyway, we owe:

13,000 - ???

I can't find the comments/notes from the winners of those two kiribans. Someone, help Sasuke fail less!! I'm so sorry to all of the Kiriban winners, but especially those two, for my lack of....anything intelligent...XD;


Other than that, though!! The 09 Con Season is almost over, with just one (or two!!) cons left to go. This was all brought up in a previous journal, so I won't talk too much on it so as not to get repetitive.

Remember, ~WiltingDahlia, ~Overthought27, and ~Bakichan are going to be representing Okage NEXT WEEK at Anime Weekend Atlanta 15. Sasuke and Jangular are flying out to see Baki, then the three of them are flying down to Georgia for the con...so everyone, keep your fingers crossed that the flights all go safely and no luggage is lost! XD;

After that, though, is Okage's last con of the year, and wonderfully, we'll be in full attendance! Okage-Sama De~ is once again heading off to Yaoi-Con, along with pals :decpaxcm: and ~FrozenSherbert!! Not to mention the handful of lovelies rooming with us, Y-Con is looking like it's gonna be a heck of a weekend!!

So, that's about it for updates now. We will get the pictures done ASAP, and we look forward to seeing old friends and new at upcoming cons, be it East or West coast!
